ADULT LEVEL

Our adult dance classes are designed for adults of all technical levels. Barre combinations as well as center combinations, focusing on stability,  balance, and movement vocabulary are the foundations of this class.  Studying ballet, jazz, and modern techniques can improve posture and overall sense of well-being.

Adult classes focuses on learning the elements of both classical jazz and lyrical expressive jazz. The class will use various genres of music and tempos to work on figures such as turns, battements, and small jumps.  Participating in dance classes can develop muscle and improve posture and well-being.

  • Offered to students 18 years and up, and local dance ministry teams.
  • 1 hour session, once a week.
  • Combination classes consist of (3) techniques (Jazz, Ballet, & Modern).
  • Focus is on beginner and intermediate level movement, technique, body conditioning,  and elements of choreography.

ALDS offers Adult Level classes at its studios in Arlington and at the Midway location in Carrollton, TX.
