BEGINNER LEVEL - A

Classes are held at Another Level Dance Studios, Room 3

Students of ages (5-8) begin in Level A, learning the basic ballet & Jazz positions, the progression of a standard ballet barre, and learning the French vocabulary that defines all the steps in both ballet and jazz. These students also move into beginning center work, away from the support of the ballet barre. Level A students are required to take five classes per week, but may take additional classes if desired.

DRESS CODE:
Females

Black leotard, conservative traditional styles (no embellishments, low-cut backs, halters, high-cut legs or strap designs)
Pink convertible tights
Black ballet shoes with elastic strap, black jazz shoes
Hair in a bun or similar style if possible; short hair secured with a band; all bangs neatly pinned or sprayed back
Camp T-shirt

Males

White plain white t-shirt
Black loose fitting shorts or sweat pants
Black ballet shoes with elastic strap & black jazz shoes
White socks (short)
Hair neatly combed back out of face and secured
